RECIPE: STIR FRIED PAK CHOY WITH MUSTARD AND EGG
An easy stir fry to accompany any Asian style meal. You could add some diced/sliced meat such as chicken, pork or beef or seafood such as prawns or calamari. Just add your meat/seafood with the garlic and onion and follow the recipe.
Ingredients – serves 5 to 6
2 large bunches of pak choy – sliced thinly
1 onion – sliced thinly
3 cloves garlic – minced
1 egg
1 tbsp mustard seeds
Salt to taste
1 tbsp veg oil
Method
Heat oil in a wok and add in the mustard seeds, followed by the onion and garlic. Cook until the garlic is aromatic and the onion is translucent.
Add in the pak choy and mix well. When nearly cooked, add in the salt and break in the egg. Mix well, lift and serve.
